Management

iPass management technologies fall into two groups: those that iPass administers and those that iPass customers can use to manage user access and protect their wayward devices.

iPass Management Responsibilities

  • Mobility Management. Through a combination of network provider prequalification and a patented service quality management system that functions across the iPass global virtual network, iPass helps ensure that mobile users get trouble-free and high-performance connections.
  • Fixed Broadband Management. iPass actively monitors, manages and troubleshoots the endpoint devices and circuits used with its Retail Office and Branch Office fixed broadband services in order to exceed its Service Level Agreement commitments. For the Home Office service, iPass configures the Wi-Fi router and manages network availability.

Customer Management Capabilities

  • Managing Devices. iPass' advanced mobile technologies allow for the management of devices that reside beyond the corporate firewall
  • Management Portal. The iPass Portal includes tools that allow enterprise IT staff to manage users, access policies and costs.
