All Aboard: Get iPass Service at Northeast Corridor Train Stations

Millions of rail commuters along the Northeast Corridor can now take advantage of wireless broadband access in five of Amtrak's busiest stations. In mid October, iPass customers gained secure Wi-Fi access at New York's Penn Station, Union Station in Washington D.C., 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, Baltimore's Penn Station and Wilmington Station in Delaware.

New York's Penn Station is the country's busiest passenger transportation facility, serving more than 500,000 people daily—that's more than John F. Kennedy, LaGuardia and Newark airports combined. According to Joel Wachtler, vice president of marketing and strategy at iPass, "Adding these strategic venues is a major boon for iPass customers who travel the Northeast Corridor. It also extends the capabilities of iPass enterprise mobility services to a vast number of potential users."

Putting Productivity on the Fast Track
Staying productive while commuting is an excellent way to keep on top of work and make the commute fly by. Wireless broadband access at Amtrak stations makes it very convenient to check for important emails and download attachments as well as create presentations, proposals and other content during the journey to be sent at the next station stop.
